These terms apply to NomadWave and any other of NomadWave’s sites, apps, communities on any platform, any of its meetups and/or any of its online or offline events or properties. NomadWave’s sites are crowdsourced and have user-generated content, so don’t rely on the data and always double-check.

By accessing this site you agree that you are at least 18 years of age or older.

We’re not liable if you get hurt because of our site, app, data, meetups, or anything we offer you.

Before working in another country, see if it’s legal first (e.g., visas, permits). We’re not responsible for that.
You allow us to publish the stuff you contribute to this site indefinitely.

We need you to set a recent profile photo of your face. We don’t allow group photos, drawings, avatars, objects, shirtless, sexual photos, or pics that aren’t you: only human profile pics. Accounts not following this rule are suspended/deleted.

When entering your email during sign up, we may use it to contact you.

When providing feedback (through the feedback form or any other way), you agree to let us use it to improve the site/app.

We collect analytics data including your IP, location, and actions on this site to make it better.

We also use your IP, location, and actions on this site to personalize it (e.g., show you the nearest places to you).

When meeting up with people on NomadWave in real life, always meet and stay in public, preferably in a group.

We use public profile names, info, and images on the site and our social media, for example, when tweeting a new feature.

If you spam your startup/app/business/yourself on any of our websites and/or communities, we have the right to ban you, delete your account, and charge you a monetary fine for spamming our members and for having to spend money and time to moderate you. This fine can be $300 or more per spam message/post.

Subscriptions rebill unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime when logged in on the Settings page. If you’ve been renewed but didn’t wish to renew, you can self-refund your payment within 7 days of your auto-renewal payment by canceling your membership, after cancellation you will automatically be refunded with no questions asked. If you want a refund after signing up, you can do so within 7 days of signing up by canceling your membership, after cancellation you will automatically be refunded with no questions asked. We send receipts by email via Stripe.

NomadWave and the Blue Wave logo are trademarks and subject to copyright worldwide.

Data on NomadWave is crowdsourced from lots of people’s inputs, data sets, and public APIs. By the nature of the data, it’s impossible to get it completely accurate. Therefore, we accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or inconvenience resulting from using NomadWave’s websites and apps. You should verify critical information (like visas, health, and safety) before you travel. Most countries do require a working/business visa if you’d like to work there. Working on a tourist visa is probably illegal. Please make sure you verify all of a country’s requirements for travel with its embassy and your embassy before you travel. Many cities may be dangerous for tourists and travelers, make sure you stay safe and verify which areas to avoid with your local embassy before traveling.

NomadWave accepts no liability or responsibility to any person or organization as a consequence of any reliance upon the information contained in its sites like NomadWave and any other of its sites and properties.

To the full extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall NomadWave be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if any NomadWave has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with (a) NomadWave or this Agreement or the inability to use NomadWave (however arising, including our negligence), (b) statements or conduct of or transactions with any member or third party on NomadWave, (c) your use of NomadWave or transportation to or from NomadWave events, attendance at NomadWave events, participation in or exclusion from NomadWave groups or NomadWave events, and the actions of you or others at NomadWave events, or (d) any other matter relating to NomadWave. Our liability to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount of fees, if any, you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the action that may give rise to liability.

We collect information concerning your browser, IP, and location for analytics purposes. We also utilize your location to display distances and flight durations to various cities. Any content or data you contribute to the site grants us a perpetual license to broadcast, display, distribute, sell, and create derivatives from your contributions across different platforms (including but not limited to Slack, Discord, Facebook, and YouTube).

All information provided is aimed at being accurate, but due to the changeable nature of the material, we cannot guarantee its accuracy or currentness. Therefore, we’re not responsible for any inaccuracies or subsequent changes. Copyright of all materials rests with NomadWave unless otherwise noted.

We reserve the right to ban any user permanently from our platforms for violating our Terms of Service, with the decision solely at our discretion without appeals or refunds.

EU customers acknowledge that services are accessible immediately upon purchase, thus waiving the 14-day withdrawal period.

Promoting personal or external websites, apps, or businesses on NomadWave’s platforms is prohibited. Violation of this may result in account termination, retention of membership fees, and a fine of $300 per spam message or post.

Membership fees are subject to all applicable taxes and can be canceled anytime via the Settings page, with cancellation needing to be done at least 24 hours before the rebill date to avoid renewal charges. Delayed transactions may be reattempted within a few days of the initial attempt.

Members must maintain a recent and authentic profile photo, adhering to our guidelines.

Our platforms host user-generated content which may be subjective, inaccurate, or offensive, and we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this data.

Information on our platforms should not substitute professional advice and is provided on an “as is”, “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of all security features related to website use and to link back to our site when using data from our APIs or site.

Feedback provided becomes the sole property of NomadWave, and you agree to assign all rights in the feedback to us.

You agree to indemnify NomadWave for any loss or liability incurred due to unlawful, unauthorized, or improper use of the website, or any breach of these terms.

We do not guarantee constant website availability and are not responsible for downtime or access failure beyond our control.

External links on our site are not endorsed by us, and we are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of content on linked sites.

Data transmission over the internet is not completely secure, and while we strive to protect such information, we do not warrant the security of information transmitted to us.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of California, irrespective of where NomadWave operates or where you access our platforms from.
